We love our other half, ball and chain, partners in crime and in life but sometimes they may accidentally over-step the boundaries, that you might not immediately think are entirely wrong, but are wildly unacceptable.
Relationships are hard enough without having your partner do things that may seem harmless but are actually far from it. If your partner does do some of the things below, it's always a good idea to make them aware of their actions as sometimes they may not intend to cause upset.
MAKING DECISIONS ON THEIR BEHALF
Especially when they are not around to give their opinion. Communication is key, never assume just because you think it's the right thing to do.
POINTING OUT PARTNER’S FLAWS
This is not ok to do full stop, to anyone. And definitely not in the presence of others. It's not nice to hear the person you love say they don't like something about you. It's kinda like a kick in the guts really!
GOING THROUGH THEIR PHONE
This screams trust issues. A relationship is all about trust, if your partner isn't giving you permission to use/go through their phone you need to discuss your concerns.
MAKING FUN OF YOUR PARTNER’S RELIGION
Again, not ok to make fun of any religion. Respecting their religion would be very important to them.
USING THEM AS THE BUTT OF A JOKE
Trying to show them your love through bagging them probably isn't the best idea. But affirmations? You've got a winner there, my friend.
